Hi, I’m Kate Zotova, the photographer and founder of Pacifica Studio in Santa Clara. I photograph people, brands and events, in the studio and around the Bay Area. My favorite part is getting to know the person in front of the camera: what makes you laugh, what matters to you, and how you want to be seen.
You don’t need to arrive with a practiced smile or know what to do with your hands. We’ll talk, try a few things, and give you time to settle in. I’ll guide you when you need it and leave room for the little expressions that happen on their own.
Whether we’re making a headshot, a portrait with someone you love, or photos for your brand, I want you to recognize yourself in the pictures. That matters just as much when I’m photographing your whole team: everyone brings a different personality to the room.
At company events and private celebrations, I look for the moments between people: a shared laugh, a familiar face across the room, the hug before someone leaves. Those are the photographs that bring you back to how it felt to be there.
